Booking information and payments
All bookings must be made by email and should include the reservation form featured on our website. Response will be forthcoming within 48 hours. AZIMUT 360 will confirm your booking request once we have received 50% of the total cost of the trip. The remaining 50% is due 21 days prior to trip departure. All prices are based on double occupancy. All prices and fares are quoted in U.S. dollars. The rates are based on current tariffs and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as important variations in the USD exchange rate.
Final payment is due no later than 21 days prior to departure. Your reservation will be cancelled if full payment has not been received by 21 days prior to departure.
We accept payment of your deposit via Visa, Mastercard or Amex and we can also accept your balance payment via Visa, Mastercard or Amex plus a 3% credit card fee charge.

Cancellation, modifications and refunds
Once you have paid your 50% deposit your trip is confirmed however, your reservation will be cancelled if full payment has not been received by 21 days prior to departure.
Any cancellation of a booking must be in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by AZIMUT 360.
• For cancellations made within 30 days of the trip commencement date we reserve the right to retain 30% of the full fee.
• For cancellations made within 21 days of the trip commencement date we reserve the right to retain 50% of the full fee.
• For cancellations within 15 days of the departure date a cancellation fee of 100% of the full fee applies.
Any airline, bus or boat tickets issued are subject to the carrier’s refund policy.
Any request to amend or change a booking once it has been confirmed may be accommodated subject to space availability. If we are able to assist, an administrative fee of USD$50 will be assessed per change. These fees will be added to your final invoice.
No refunds are given (1) for lost travel time or substitution of facilities, (2) for itineraries amended after departure, (3) for circumstances arising beyond Azimut 360’s control, necessitating alternative arrangements being made to ensure the safety and/or further participation and enjoyment of your program, (4) if you do not appear for any accommodation, service, sightseeing or trip segment (5) if you leave your program after it has begun for any reason whatsoever, or miss any scheduled sightseeing, activities, meals or accommodations.
It is your responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, travel permits, health certificates, inoculations, international driving license or other documentation required for the trip are obtained and in order. It is your responsibility to meet any additional costs incurred either by yourself (or by Azimut 360 on your behalf) as a result of any failure by you to comply with such requirements.
Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion date of the trip, and must have sufficient blank pages for all necessary travel visas and appropriate entry/exit stamps.
It is your obligation to respect the rules, laws and environment of all places visited during the trip. Special regulations may apply in National Parks so we request that you to ask your guides for information before making any alteration to the environment or taking pictures of local populations.
Some of AZIMUT 360’s trips may involve travel in remote areas and places where living standards, practices, services and accommodation are different than those available at home. Participants are exclusively responsible for choosing a trip that best suits their interests, abilities, fitness level and health.
Your are responsible for having the appropiate clothes and personal equipment for the trip. Please ask for our equipment list when booking.
By enrolling on one of our trips, you agree to respect all decisions, instructions, and rules given by our guides.
While on tour, please communicate your wishes and/or difficulties to our staff (on time!). Our guides are very often the only ones who can really help you. Please do not wait until the end of the tour to make your comments or suggestions, or talk about what you feel, need or wish.
What is included
Accommodations and meals as indicated in the itinerary (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner); entrance fees, excursions, and sightseeing noted as included in the itinerary; ground transportation during the program; transfers where applicable; fully-guided expeditions as noted in the itineraries.
What is not Included
International and regional airfares - unless otherwise noted; costs associated with obtaining passports or entry visas; airport departure taxes- unless otherwise noted; excess baggage charges; gratuities to the guide, driver-guides and camp staff; meals other than specified in the itinerary; activities not included in the itinerary; personal expenses such as laundry, communication charges and optional programs (which are subject to availability).
Responsibility & liability
AZIMUT 360 shall not be held liable for any injury, death, loss, delay, inconvenience, damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, government restrictions, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
AZIMUT 360 is not responsible for error or omission of any suppliers (such as accommodations or transportation company). We shall not be held responsible for lack of availability in hotels, lodges, refuges, and/or camps requested by the client. In such cases we will try to place the client in alternative accommodation of the same level, without taking any responsibility for the client’s lack of satisfaction with the alternative accommodations.
There are many inherent risks in adventure travel which can lead to illness, injury, or even death. These risks are increased by the fact that some programs take place in remote locations, far from medical facilities. AZIMUT 360 does not assume responsibility for any accident, death or personal injuries that could result from clients careless acts.
Our programs do not include travel insurance. We strongly recommend that you purchase a medical and travel insurance policy in your home country that covers any cost of cancellation before or during the trip, accidents, and loss of luggage. We insist on the fact that in case of accident, we bear no responsibility for medical expenses or expenses of any other kind. It is the responsibility of the participant to contract a medical and travel insurance before departure that covers all such eventualities. If the participant does not contract such insurance, we can, at clients' expenses, arrange medical treatment or emergency evacuation service if deemed essential for clients' safety.
We are not responsible in case of loss or theft of luggage or personal belongings.
AZIMUT 360 reserves the right to withdraw, alter or otherwise modify any trips, itineraries, specific programs or activities when it is deemed necessary or to your advantage.
During the program, AZIMUT 360 or its representatives (guides) can terminate the participation of a member of the group if we believe that person's health is at risk, if an illegal act is committed, or his/her behavior becomes detrimental to the safety, enjoyment or well-being of the group. No refunds will be given.
If AZIMUT 360 is forced to cancel a trip due to inadequate trip participation or conditions beyond our control such as but not limited to too few participant, climate conditions, natural disaster, strikes, civil disturbances, government restrictions, our liability is limited solely to the cost of the land arrangements.
If the required minimum of participants is not reached on fixed departures, AZIMUT 360 will, subject to 45 days warning, either cancel the departure, offer a full refund of ground services, or apply a supplement subject to participant approval.
AZIMUT 360 reserves the right to modify booking procedures, terms and conditions and/or program prices at any time without notice.
AZIMUT 360 programs are available to anyone in good physical and mental health. Any physical condition, diet, or treatment requiring special attention must be reported in writing when the reservation is made. Participants should refer to the specifics of each program to determine suitability. For mountaineering expeditions, we cannot guarantee that the participant will reach the summit. Our guides can decide to cancel a summit attempt for the safety of the group. Participants agree to respect the guide’s choice and decision. No refunds will be given.
AZIMUT 360 reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and to use such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
